Family Letter 
July 2010
I know it is only July, but believe it or not August is right around the
corner. I hope that you are enjoying your summer with your family and
friends. I would like to welcome back all returning families and welcome
all of our new families to Sacred Heart School. It is hard to believe,
but school will be starting before you know it. I am looking forward to
a great 2010-2011 school year. Listed below is important information
that will help you to have an idea of what is needed during our Welcome
Orientation Weekend.
Medical Forms: All needed Medical, Dental, & Eye Exam forms MUST
be completed and presented to Sacred Heart School BEFORE the first day
of school—your child will NOT be able to attend classes on the first day
of school if forms are missing or incomplete.

WELCOME ORIENTATION WEEKEND
Saturday, August 7th, from 4p.m. – 6p.m. in the church basement
or
Sunday, August 8th, from 9a.m. – Noon in the church basement
AUGUST WELCOME ORIENTATION WEEKEND
-
• 1st tuition payment is due for the school year
• Book & Material payment is due for each child, if not already paid
• Technology Fee is due for each child in Preschool 4year old-8th grade- $40 each
• Copies of Birth Certificates are needed for ALL NEW STUDENTS
• Church payment is due if you are a registered parishioner ($10 each Sunday for summer months)
• Pay PTO Dues of $40 per family
• Fill out Emergency Contact form for your child(ren)
• Pick up Student-Parent
Handbook –PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
• Register for Extended Day
Program if needed
• Pick up school uniform
information from Schoolbelles
• Sign up for Mandatory Service
Hour Projects or pay $300 fee instead of working
• Physical Medical Form-All new
students, Kindergarteners, & 6th graders
• Dental Form-All new students,
2nd graders & 6th graders
• Eye Exam-All students
entering school for the first time & all Kindergarteners
Monday, August 23rd is the first day of school---7:50a.m. until
11:15am…please make sure your child comes in uniform and has all of
their supplies from the school supply list -
the supply list is available on the school website.
Tuesday, August 24th
will be a full day of school 8:00a.m.
until 2:30p.m.-please pack a lunch & beverage for your child(ren).
